-O-, I have a question regarding the two young women you identified as being a personal concierge at The Keating. Where are "Les Clefs d'Or" on their lapels? Is it possible you could have been duped?

thanks for the review Omegaet! I was literally just about to post asking "Has anyone stayed at the Keating?" when I saw your blog! Truth is, I'm not sure that it's what I'm looking for right now - LL has lots of great hotels in and around San Diego and I think I'm leaning more towards one of the "quieter" resorts outside the city proper- Torrey Pines or something. However, for my next venture into San Diego itself, the Keating looks like a nice little adventure.
t-2-f...honestly, after reviewing the photo of Christy and Anji, I don't think they had lapels for the conciege symbolic crossed keys. Actually, they could have told me they were delivering pizza.
claassenam...The Lodge at Torry Pines and the use of the A-6 for a couple of nights would be a lot more laid back than the frantic pace of The Keating and the Gaslamp Quarter....for sure!
-O-, Pizza Delivery?
The people who deliver pizza in my neighborhood usually drive '89 Civics with at least one head light and tail light missing. I need to change pizza joints!
Loved the review... I've been intrigued by the Keating and know it will be great for a couple of friends of mine!

omegaet, I really question the serious side of your postings at time. Do you really think we believe those two girls are employees of The Keating?
j-s-2, obviously the ladies are employed somewhere. Look at the clothing! Doesn't look like it came from second had store to me.
TWO CRITICAL POINTS: THE KEATING HOTEL
(1) IS NOT for everyone!
(2) IS PERECT for those who know what they want! __________________________________________________ Couldn't agree more! We love this hotel and love that it's unique and trendy. The location is perfect for the Gaslamp nightlife. We had a blast! Sally, Las Vegas Luxury Hotel Manager |
