OK,omegaet, what is the difference between this blog and your VIP blog? Is there something different you can do here than you cannot do in the VIP blog? I am sorry to be missing the difference between the two blogs. Can you clarify?

t-2-f…we received an invitation to write a personal travel blog. So this is the start with no specific destination in mind. When we write for the VIP travel blog, we concentrate (not always successfully) on a travel experience motivated by an auction purchase from LL. At times in the past, we have strayed from that path.

Here, in “Fragmented,” we are likely to wander hither and yon (hence, Fragmented)….not much else to add to the purpose or direction. It will either develop into something or will eventually wither and die.

omegaet, thank you for responding and explaining how you see the differences in the blogs.

btw It must have been interesting for you to see the QE2, especially since you had been aboard and knowing she was leaving on her final voyage (at least for the last time from her Winter home for so many years). I saw a report on TV and I guess there will be other coverage as she makes her way to Dubai.

travel2fun makes a good point. This blog is for users to communicate with Omegaet - and for Omegaet to share his travel thoughts and insighs with the world - the dialogue should typically be between users and Omegaet.

As lhbrown poitns out - we are offering blogs to our VIPs so I encourage you to take us up on the offer rather than do Omegaet's jopb for him in his blog.

Hi O,
I too often take shots of food. It is a practice I have picked up at cooking school. It helps to remember when reproducing a dish and certainly, it helps with presentation of a dish. It also helps remembering some of the food we had on a trip. It brings back memories.... among other shots.... and with digital photography the cost is zero, so why not....

Maybe it's just the flights I am using, but there seem to be fewer and fewer passengers on board these days.....most of my business trips are in coach and it's nice to find the middle seat open more often.
